The Boat
The "Wild Goose" is a 46' Bertram Sportfisherman, and is one of the nicest appointed Sportfishermen available on the Eastern Shore. The interior is designed for your comfort, including air-conditioning. The spacious cockpit, with fighting chair, was designed with the fisherman in mind. She has a full state-of-the-art electronics. She is powered by twin 700 HP diesels for a fast, 27 knot cruise, and comfortable ride. Penn International fishing gear, 50's & 80's.

The Captain
As the owner and captain of the "Wild Goose" Captain Gene will show you the prime fishing areas along the east coast. You will travel to offshore canyons in search of your angling adventure. Captain Wilgus is one of Indian River's experienced charter boat captains and has been at the helm for the past 21 years.

Captain Gene and his knowledgeable crew are experienced in every aspect of offshore and canyon fishing. They will assist you in every way to make your fishing adventure a lasting experience. Come and fish with us aboard the "Wild Goose".

All Tackle, Bait and ICE (and plenty of it) is supplied. YOU WILL NEED:
  • Sunscreen & Sunglasses
  • Long Sleeve Shirt, Jacket or Sweatshirt
  • Cap or Hat
  • Rubber sole shoes - No black soles
  • Camera
  • Sea sick medication if needed
  • Lunch, sodas, water, etc.
